1924.3<\/th>\nKeizo Yamamoto opened a shop in Tsukiji, Tokyo.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
1934.2<\/th>\nIt was converted to a joint-stock corporation.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
1941.9<\/th>\nThe company was renamed Yamamoto Kogyo Co., Ltd. Due to imports halted at the start of World War II, a factory was established in Koganei for production of precision tools. Osaka and Nagoya Offices were established.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
1949.2<\/th>\nYamamoto & Co., Ltd., spun off from Yamamoto Kogyo Co., Ltd., was reestablished for import business of machine tools.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
1967.9<\/th>\nNew head office including showroom was rebuilt at its current location.
\nThe company was renamed Yamamoto & Co., Ltd.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
1977.10<\/th>\nYamamoto & Co., Ltd. was reestablished.
\nLiaison Office in Germany was established.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

\nYKT Shanghai Co., Ltd. was established in Shanghai, China.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

\nChanged the registered name to YKT CORPORATION.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
2003.10<\/th>\nMerged with Yamamoto Group Co., Ltd.. YKT CORPORATION became the succeeding company.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
2005.1<\/th>\nYKT Europe GmbH from Liaison Office was established near Stuttgart, Germany.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
2006.12<\/th>\nYKT Taiwan Corporation was established by incorporating the Taiwan office into a local entity.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
